Tragedy struck the City of Vallejo as police responded to a call of a stabbing incident yesterday afternoon. Officers arrived at the corner of Lemon Street and Third Street and discovered an adult male victim with at least one stab wound. Immediate attempts were made to save his life. However, he later died from his injuries after being transported to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Details surrounding the incident are scarce, and the Vallejo Police Department's Homicide Detectives are now leading the investigation to determine the motive and the circumstances leading up to the stabbing. The victim's identity has been withheld at this time, with the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office undertaking the responsibility of notifying the next of kin, as stated by the Vallejo Police Department.
