As winter enters the district, Mayor Muriel Bowser in conjunction with the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) has ushered in a warmth of culinary delights with Winter Restaurant Week. In an announcement, Mayor Bowser shone a spotlight on the opportunity for fellow Washingtonians to rally behind local restaurants from Monday to Sunday, offering a chance to savor the city's flavors and furnish support to the local business landscape.
"Winter Restaurant Week is a fantastic opportunity for Washingtonians to experience the best of DC’s culinary scene while also supporting our vibrant local businesses," Mayor Bowser said. This seven-day event weaves through various neighborhoods, offering a tapestry of tastes ranging from upscale dining to cozy, casual eateries.
Of the nearly 250 eateries participating, a host of newcomers are sure to draw crowds, including a.kitchen + bar DC, Chadol Korean BBQ, and JINYA Ramen Bar Union Market, among others. Each restaurant aims to entice patrons with special menus, with brunch and lunch options marked at $25 or $35 per person and dinner at $40, $55, or $65 per person. Furthermore, many establishments are enhancing their offerings with unique cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic pairings.
