Investigators from the Washington State Patrol (WSP) have put out a call for witnesses following a dangerous episode of road rage that ended in gunfire on Tuesday morning. The unsettling event unfolded on northbound Interstate 5 near 54th Ave E, at a place marked by milepost 137, at around 7 a.m. as reported by the WSP.
According to authorities, the clash escalated to a critical point when the driver of a vehicle, believed to be a Ford Focus of dark blue or black color, wielded a handgun, as per the Washington State Patrol. While aiming their vehicle, at least two shots were fired by the suspect, hitting the victim's car, a black Nissan Altima. Despite their car taking gunfire, the victim miraculously escaped the incident physically unscathed.
