The Suffolk County Police informed that the initial blaze resulted in a partial collapse of the home, where one woman perished. As efforts to identify the woman continue, the Suffolk County Medical Examiner has not yet released her identity. In the wake of the disaster, a man was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while another emerged unscathed, police said.
