
A tragic multi-vehicle collision in Osceola County has resulted in the death of a woman and several other injuries. The crash, which occurred this morning, involved four vehicles and occurred on Nova Road, north of Maplehead Road, as reported by WESH.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the sequence of events began when a Chevy Silverado did not reduce speed in time, colliding with a Toyota Corolla. This impact sent the Chevy into the oncoming southbound lane, directly into the path of a Hyundai Elantra. The collision propelled the Hyundai into the opposite lane, striking a Lexus ES. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m., and additional vehicles and passengers were involved. ClickOrlando reported that they were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, a female passenger in the Hyundai was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. The identities of those involved have not been public as investigators are still confirming details. A roadblock was established following the crash, affecting traffic on Nova Road in both directions.
