
On Tuesday, at a Gulf gas station in Worcester, Massachusetts, Vice Squad officers observed two vehicles. Their focus led to a fentanyl-related arrest, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Officers, ready to intercept a drug deal, watched as a man moved from one car to the driver's seat of a black Honda on Park and Pleasant St. Before the conversation could finish, police moved in to stop the transaction. The driver, 27-year-old James Ward, quickly tried to flee but was caught by the officers, as reported by the Worcester Police Department.
Ward was arrested in Worcester after officers found bags of fentanyl. He faces charges of Distribution of a Class A Substance, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Resisting Arrest, as stated by the Worcester Police Department.
