If you're a resident of either Wright or Sherburne counties, your input is sought for the Highway 25 area’s future. A Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study is targeting the stretch between I-94 in Monticello and Hwy. 10 in Big Lake, and officials want to know what you think.
The public is currently being invited to weigh in on the Alternatives Analysis Report – a document that outlines the process for evaluating potential changes to the corridor. According to a release by Wright County, "The comment period is open until Thursday, January 23." The report plays a critical role in determining, which alternatives should move forward into the rigorous NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) study phase.
Those interested in providing feedback can do so using the comment tool found on the dedicated Hwy. 25 PEL website. The site offers access to the Alternatives Analysis Report and additional details pertinent to the project. For a more communal exchange of views, there’s also the option to RSVP for a virtual open house – a chance to join the conversation from the comfort of your home.
Visit the Hwy. 25 PEL website for all the information you need to make your voice heard.
