
The Metropolitan Police Department reported the arrest of a 17-year-old in connection with an armed burglary in Southeast D.C. On January 23, suspects entered a home on Elvans Road, threatened the victim with a handgun, and stole property, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The Metropolitan Police Department reported that 17-year-old Corda Swann, of Southeast D.C., was arrested on Wednesday. Swann was charged as an adult under Title 16 with Burglary One while Armed (Gun). The case is still under investigation.
The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a suspect in a violent crime but has not disclosed information about additional suspects, who may still be at large. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for tips leading to arrests and convictions.
