A 77-year-old man has been hospitalized with major injuries following a collision with a semi-truck on Highway 99 in Sutter County. The authorities were called to the scene near Hull Road, where an SUV and a semi-truck gravel truck were involved in an accident. The California Highway Patrol stated that the SUV pulled out from the side of the road in front of a semi-truck, leading to the truck crashing into the rear of the vehicle and causing it to overturn, reported ABC10.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
