According to a social media post, the incident occurred on February 12 when a wallet was taken from an unsuspecting diner at a restaurant in the valley. The aftermath of this theft saw the pilfered debit card utilized for purchases at the Summit Mall Apple Store, totalling $860, followed by another transaction worth $600.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crime to step forward, providing a range of options for citizens to report tips anonymously. According to the Akron Police Department's post, Detective Sgt. M.
