The Arizona Auditor General is on the lookout for a qualified firm to conduct a comprehensive performance audit of the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. Interested parties have until February 24, to submit their proposals, with the audit projected to be a year-long endeavor, culminating in a report due by June 19, 2026, accoridng to the Arizona Auditor General.
A preproposal conference is set for February 13, which will give interested firms a detailed glimpse into the expectations and requirements of the audit. Questions and inquiries regarding the RFP have also been invited and must be directed to Julie Cantrell, the Financial Services Manager, by February 19, as reported by the Arizona Auditor General.
After receiving proposals, the Auditor General's Office plans to announce the selected firm by March 7. The chosen firm will start work right away. This audit is important for ensuring transparency and accountability in schools for the deaf and blind. To support a fair process, the Auditor General's Office has provided additional documents along with the RFP.
