According to the Baltimore Police Department, Raynard Venable was apprehended by Warrant Apprehension detectives in the 800 block of East 22nd Street on Sunday. He has since been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he stands accused of attempted first-degree murder.

The victim, who has not been named, was able to find help after fleeing the initial location. Upon responding to the scene in the 2700 block of East Federal Street back in November, officers located the injured man exhibiting a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
