Baltimore police are investigating a shooting that left a 23-year-old male with gunshot wounds yesterday afternoon. At approximately 2:45 p.m. yesterday, officers were dispatched to a local hospital following reports of an individual seeking treatment for gunshot injuries.
The Eastern District shooting detectives gathered evidence from the scene of the crime in the 3100 block of Shannon Drive, where the victim reported he was confronted and shot by unidentified suspects. Despite the violence that unfolded on that city block, the specifics of the incident, including a motive or the number of perpetrators, are yet undisclosed.
Authorities encourage the public to share any information that could assist the investigation.
