After a series of investigations following a January shooting in Baltimore's Northern District, police have made an arrest. According to the Baltimore Police Department's report, 42-year-old Jacquetta Jackson is now in custody, facing charges of attempted murder.

The incident, which took place on January 24, resulted in a 22-year-old woman sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg. The dispute between Jackson and the victim seemingly escalated, resulting in the shooting on the 3600 block of Park Heights Avenue. The victim was later found in the 2400 block of Keyworth Avenue and promptly transported to the hospital by vehicle.

Investigators were able to piece together the events of that day and identified Jackson as the shooter. In a coordinated effort, Northwest District Patrol Officers immediately apprehended Jackson today. She was subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. The alleged shooter now faces charges of Attempted Degree Murder, a serious accusation that underscores the gravity of the situation at hand.
