Bay Area commuters, brace yourselves for a series of late-night travel disruptions. The Nevada Department of Transportation has rolled out an updated schedule for ramp and lane closures along the I-15 corridor, all part of the expansive I-15 South Widening Project aimed at broadening our vehicular horizons. For those night owls or graveyard shifters, heed the upcoming changes: starting Sunday, and continuing through Monday, you'll see the St. Rose Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-15 shut down from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Simultaneously, the Cactus Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-15 will mirror these closures.

That's not all, folks. The construction extends its grip with northbound I-15 tapering down to a single lane stretching from Cactus Avenue to Silverado Ranch Boulevard. This narrowing will persist nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., beginning Sunday, until Friday, February 7. According to Nevada Department of Transportation, these restrictions are essential for shifting temporary barrier rails and making way for roadway excavations.
