The arrested individual, identified as 42-year-old James Smith of Boston, now faces charges that include Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, he was found with the aforementioned weapons and stolen property which was subsequently returned to the victim, ensuring at least a partial restitution for the terror that had been faced amid the morning’s events.

Currently held in custody, Smith is set to be presented for arraignment in Roxbury District Court, with the local community alerted and perhaps slightly eased by the swift action of the South End officers.
