The Broward Sheriff's Office is turning to the public for assistance in their search for a 62-year-old Lauderdale Lakes man who has been reported missing since Thursday. Sahadeo Persaud, according to the information provided by the authorities and obtained by Local 10 News, was last seen around noon near the 4100 block of Northwest 41st Street.
Family members, trying to complete the puzzle of his disappearance, described Persaud as 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 175 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He faced physical challenges due to a prior stroke, and on the right side, walks with the aid of a cane. Persaud was last seen wearing a black and white short sleeve shirt, camouflage pants, and black slides, which Boca Post reported from accounts provided by family.
The Broward Sheriff's Office Missing Persons Unit clearly emphasizes the gravity of this situation and hopes that increased public eyes and ears might provide new leads. They urge anyone who might have seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts to immediately contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or call their non-emergency number at 954-764-4357.
In response to the community's concern, the Sheriff's Office insists that every piece of information, no matter how small, could be the key in locating Persaud. Described as weighing 175 pounds, he has had his mobility compromised by a stroke, and he uses a cane by those who last saw him. This detail could be critical in recognizing him amongst the crowd. Should you come across any details that might lead to finding Sahadeo Persaud, BSO detectives encourage reaching out through official channels which are available 24/7.
