Over the weekend, the Cedar Hill Police Department celebrated its Annual Department Awards Banquet, where a select group of officers were honored for their 2024 achievements. In a social media post shared by the department, the community was asked to recognize the hard work and dedication of Officer Pedraza, Officer Valenti, Officer Andrade, Officer Cooper, Lt. Hartin, and Sgt. Woodall, who all received "of the Year" awards.
According to the Cedar Hill Police Department's Facebook post, these officers received accolades to acknowledge their outstanding service and contributions to the Cedar Hill community throughout the previous year.
The annual event is a chance for the department to spotlight those who have gone above and beyond in the line of duty and foster a sense of camaraderie and appreciation among all members of the force. It's a celebration of collective efforts as much as the accolades of a few.
