Beer lovers, get ready for the 19th Annual Winter Beer Festival this Saturday at LMCU Ballpark in Comstock Park. The Michigan Brewers Guild is hosting the event from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering 499 unique beers from 93 breweries, live music, ice sculptures, and more, according to mlive.
Tickets are $60 in advance or $70 on the day of the event. A ticket includes 15 tokens for 3-ounce beer samples. Additional tokens can be purchased for 50 cents each. The festival will feature popular breweries like Founders Brewing and Harbor Light Brewery, as well as others like Earthen Ales and Silver Harbor Brewing. The event is expected to sell around 3,500 tickets, as reported by WZZM13. Attendees must be 21 or older, and no children, infants, or pets are allowed.
Designated drivers can purchase a DD ticket for $25 at the gate. Servers will not serve alcohol to DD ticket holders, and those caught drinking will be removed from the event. A QR-code linked beer list will be available for attendees to view beer selections in real-time.
Food options will be available from ballpark vendors, but they are cashless, so bring a card. Parking is available at the venue, and some local hotels may offer shuttle services.
