The Columbus Division of Police is seeking the public's assistance in tracking down a suspect involved in a road rage incident last fall. According to the Columbus Division of Police in a social media post, the event happened on October 18, 2024, when one driver, who has yet to be identified due to heavily tinted windows, allegedly committed a road traffic offense on Sullivant Ave. at Clarendon Ave.
Provoked by this act, the driver behind, steering a black Chrysler 300, reportedly fired a handgun into the rear of the first driver's vehicle before continuing on his way. Although the police have been unable to provide a suspect description due to the level of tint on the suspect's car windows, they are hopeful that public input will shed light on the aggressor's identity. In their call for information, the Columbus Division of Police has given out Detective Ian Pruitt's contact details and encouraged anonymous submissions to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, read their Facebook post.
