A tragic scene unfolded in Dallas as a young life was abruptly ended by gunfire. Dallas police were called to the 4600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street on Monday after receiving reports of a shooting. There, they discovered 17-year-old Nathaniel Vazquez shot inside a vehicle. The Dallas Fire-Rescue team responded but was unable to save the teenager; Vazquez was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, Vazquez was reported missing. The case, which has now turned into a homicide investigation, is assigned the case number 019319-2025.
