
The Dallas community has been rocked after a hit-and-run incident claimed the life of a young girl. On Sunday night, Dallas Police were called swiftly to the scene of the tragic event in the 5900 block of Belt Line Road. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers discovered that a white newer model Acura MDX had struck a 6-year-old girl at approximately 10:25 p.m. The driver then decided to swiftly pull into an adjacent parking lot before fleeing the scene without offering any assistance to the injured child.
The vehicle in question was last noted heading westbound on Belt Line Road, eluding the hands of justice. Dallas Fire-Rescue teams responded to the emergency, transporting the child to a local hospital. Despite their efforts, the victim's life was not to be spared. The name of the child has been withheld to respect her family's privacy during this harrowing time. The case now entered into the records as 022427-2025, remains under rigorous investigation.
