The first round of funding is supporting businesses located along East Colfax Avenue from Broadway to Williams Street, where construction began last November, it also includes parts of West Colfax Avenue that saw upgrades in the latter half of 2024. Mile High United Way and the Colfax Avenue Business Improvement District are teaming, up with the city to roll out the aid. Applications are open until March 18, and those eligible can seek personalized assistance throughout the process.

"Denver's local businesses are the heart and soul of our community, and the City and County of Denver is deeply committed to helping our small, local businesses thrive," said Adeeb Khan, Executive Director of Denver Economic Development and Opportunity, as per City and County of Denver. He noted the importance of supporting businesses, particularly in tough economic times.
