The Detroit Pistons and Comerica Bank featured seven Metro Detroit small businesses during the SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops event on Wednesday. Among the businesses were Beyond Existing Enterprises, LLC, a consulting service for philanthropic organizations, and Hygiene On Wheels, which provides mobile dentistry services to underserved communities, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.

The initiative is part of a season-long program supporting local businesses, with 28 participants featured during the 2024-25 NBA season, according to Ainvest. At each game, six businesses can interact with customers, while another business has the opportunity to network in a suite. The program aims to promote community engagement and economic growth.

G.L.A.M. Body Scrubs, winner of the Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest by TechTown, and Busted Bra Shop, a 2013 semi-finalist now operating in multiple cities, were among the businesses featured to reach a broader audience. Kravat Menswear and Kream Sisters Event Planning LLC were also showcased as part of the initiative by the Pistons and Comerica to support the local economy. Comerica, Michigan's longest-serving bank since 1849, aims to promote local businesses. Regina DuBose, owner of The Alexis Company, said, "I think it was wonderful," adding, "I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people, show the products from my business, and interact with that environment. It was really exciting and truly effervescent," as stated by Comerica
