The Elk Grove Police Department and the Sacramento County Probation Department conducted a probation compliance check in Elk Grove. They visited 45 locations and made 14 arrests for probation violations and possession of illegal items, as reported by the Elk Grove Police Department.
The Elk Grove Police Department stated, "Knock Knock, who’s there? We partnered up with Sacramento County Probation Department, for a probation compliance check operation earlier this week." During the operation, teams visited each residence to check for violations that could affect public safety. They found illegal items, including ammunition, fentanyl, other narcotics, brass knuckles, and explosives.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department on their Facebook page, a recent operation was conducted to support community safety. The department said, "This operation and partnership is just one of the many ways we work to keep Elk Grove safe."
