Envirotech Vehicles Inc., a commercial electric vehicle company, is relocating to Houston, Texas, from Osceola, Arkansas. The new 86,000-square-foot headquarters, opening early this year, will house corporate leadership, engineering, production, and fleet sales. Some operations will remain in Arkansas, but the Houston facility will expand manufacturing and services for fleet customers, as reported by KHOU.
Envirotech is relocating its headquarters to Houston, citing the city's infrastructure and business environment as key factors in the decision. According to KHOU, "Relocating to Houston is a natural step in our evolution," said Jason Maddox, president and interim CFO of Envirotech.
Envirotech is expanding to Houston with a new 86,000-square-foot manufacturing facility while maintaining its 580,000-square-foot plant in Osceola, Arkansas, to balance growth with existing operations. As demand for electric commercial vehicles rises, both locations will play key roles in supporting the green transport sector. Houston's strategic advantages make it a hub for tech and innovation, attracting companies like Envirotech. "In Houston, it will increase manufacturing with an 86,000 square foot factory reported Arkansas Business," as stated by Ok Energy Today.
