A recent head-on collision in Glendale has led to the death of a man, as per Glendale Police officials. The incident occurred last night near the intersection of 45th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. FOX 10 Phoenix reports that the crash involved two vehicles and resulted in one fatality.
The young man, believed to be in his 20s, was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the officials disclosed. Everyone involved in the accident remained at the scene as the preliminary investigation unfolded, which has indicated that the eastbound car the deceased was in, lost control, veering into the westbound traffic, causing the head-on collision, the Glendale Police shared in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Additionally, 12News has reported on the incident, noting that the crash forced the closure of Bethany Home Road between 43rd to 47th avenues for several hours to accommodate the ongoing investigation. In their coverage, they confirmed that the collision was indeed between an eastbound and a westbound vehicle.
