
In a significant crackdown on gang-related activity, the Solano County FBI violent crime task force has delivered a blow to the operations of Sureno gang members in the area. The year-long investigation centered on illegal activities tied to firearms and narcotics trafficking within Solano County. A collaboration of federal and local law enforcement agencies, the task force included a FBI special agent and a detective from the Solano County Sheriff's Office, according to a social media post by the sheriff's office.
The coordinated operation, which culminated in raids carried out across the county, led to the seizure of approximately 100,000 fentanyl pills, 16 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.5 pounds of cocaine, and 21 firearms. Additionally, around $176,000 in cash was recovered during these raids. The authorities made 4 federal arrests and 4 state arrests concerning the investigation. Notably, one of the properties targeted in Vallejo was operating as a licensed daycare facility, dubbed Lady C Childcare. The revelation of such a facility being intertwined with criminal activities has likely shocked the community and parents alike.
The Solano County Sheriff's Office emphasized the teamwork and alliance among participating law enforcement agencies as crucial to the operation's success.
