Macomb Township, Michigan, experienced a robbery at a local gas station early Wednesday morning involving five suspects. According to CBS News Detroit, four individuals were arrested, and a juvenile was taken into custody later that evening. Over 85 Breeze vapes, Black and Mild Swisher Select Cigars, and Hostess donuts were reportedly stolen from the Mobil Gas Station at 21 Mile and Hayes roads.

The clerk at the gas station was approached by three men and allegedly ordered to go to the back, which caused him to leave the premises due to fears the intruders might be armed. The suspects were seen driving away eastbound on 21 Mile Road in a white SUV shortly after the robbery, around 3 a.m.

According to FOX 2, the incident escalated when a "welfare check" call was made at 3:30 a.m. The caller told Macomb County Sheriff's deputies that his girlfriend couldn’t leave a home on Chevalier Drive, where the suspected robbers were present.

Deputies later found three small white SUVs parked outside the residence. As reported by ClickonDetroit, deputies arrested a 33-year-old male from Clinton Township, a 20-year-old male from Macomb Township, an 18-year-old male from Arnold, Missouri, and an 18-year-old female from Clinton Township, Michigan. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office stated they will seek charges against all five suspects involved.
