The City of Fort Worth Water Department has announced plans to revamp critical water and sewer infrastructure in the Bluebonnet Hills and Westcliff area. This renovation project, outlined during a public web-based meeting, aims to replace aging cast iron water mains and vulnerable sewer mains within a defined perimeter.
Residents bounded by Benbrook Boulevard to the north, Bluebonnet Circle to the east, South Hills Avenue to the south, and Stadium Drive to the west should expect to see enhancements to their local water systems. Specifically, water mains on Stadium Drive, Worth Hills Drive, Harwen Terrace, West Biddison Street, and Park Ridge Boulevard will be replaced. Additionally, the sewer mains along Stadium Drive, as well as in Benbrook Boulevard and Odessa Avenue, and across 14 easements are slated for replacement.
The virtual design meeting, which provided the community with insight into the forthcoming changes, will take place tomorrow. Citizens were able to participate through the WebEx online platform, utilizing the provided meeting number and password to gain access. For those unable to attend, the City of Fort Worth Water Department encourages residents to contact Project Manager Clayton Torrance directly for more information or with any concerns.
