Four men were arrested in Texas City after a theft operation targeting the Nike Factory Outlet at Tanger Outlet Mall, with authorities recovering over $1,900 in merchandise. According to Click2Houston, Texas City Police Department officers were conducting surveillance on Tuesday when they noticed the suspects rushing out of the store with bags of goods and fleeing in a vehicle.
Diligent officers quickly stopped the suspects' car, finding not just the stolen apparel, but also a small amount of crack cocaine. The individuals, Julian Jones, Justin Carnell, Eddie Oliver, and Michael Howard now face various charges, including theft and possession. Jones's bond was set at $10,000 for possession and $7,500 for theft, while the others each have a $10,000 bond for theft, each having prior convictions, as noted by FOX 26 Houston.
