As we roll into another work week, commuters in Frisco should brace for potential delays due to a slate of roadwork projects. According to a civic alert from the City of Frisco, several major roadways are set for pavement replacement and intersection improvements that may wrinkle your daily drive.
Ongoing pavement replacement is underway at four different locations, including Eastbound Panther Creek Parkway at the Dallas North Tollway, with the projects expected to span approximately two weeks, depending on the weather. With the North Texas climate's predictability, residents would do well to keep an eye on the skies and the city's updates.
But that's not all driving the pulse of our city's traffic to possible palpitations. Daily lane closures are scheduled for key intersection improvements. The dance of brake lights will unfold from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at busy junctures like Warren Parkway and Preston Road, which has been in flux since early January.
The Coit Rd. and SH 121 intersection projects are particularly noteworthy. According to city officials, it should be completed this February.
