In the early hours of January 25, Fulshear police officers Sergeant Brandon Moseley and Officer Kyle Simpson stopped a speeding car at 2 a.m. The driver informed them that his wife was in labor, and the officers assisted in the situation, as reported by KHOU.
According to the Fulshear Police Department on their Facebook page, officers Moseley and Simpson escorted a couple to Memorial Hermann in Katy after the driver informed them that his wife was in active labor. Medical staff were prepared upon arrival, and the baby was delivered safely.
Sergeant Moseley and Officer Simpson later reunited with the newborn and his parents under less urgent circumstances. KHOU quoted the officers saying, "Someday, baby Jack will have a great story to share about his dramatic entrance into the world."
