The authorities have turned to the public for assistance in catching a pair of suspects involved in a string of mailroom thefts. According to a social media post by the Haltom City Police Department, two individuals broke into a mailroom at 4200 Northern Cross on Valentine's Day, February 14, making off with a bevy of packages and operating a white Mercedes GLA 250 with a temporary tag.
Described as having distinctive skeleton tattoos on the backs of his hands, one suspect returned on February 22 to the scene driving a Toyota SUV. Damage to the Amazon lockers was added to his list of destructive activities, along with the theft of additional parcels. It was noted that his accomplice remained in the SUV during this second theft attempt, preventing confirmation if it's the same person from the earlier incident.
The police appeal to those who might know these individuals or any related information. They ask that such details be directed to Detective Underwood via email at [email protected] or phone at (817) 222-7033.
