Authorities in Henderson have arrested two suspects in connection with a series of bank robberies that occurred in January this year. According to the City of Henderson, the first robbery took place at the Chase Bank on N. Stephanie Street, and the second, a week later, at the America First Credit Union on S. Eastern Avenue. The suspect descriptions in both incidents matched.
The investigations led by Henderson Detectives, with the support to collaborate with federal and local agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, North Las Vegas Police Department, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, resulted in the identification and arrest of 23-year-old Denzel Jones and 21-year-old Trashauna Outlaw. The arrests were made without incident on February 1, as reported by the City of Henderson.
According to the official website of the City of Henderson, Jones and Outlaw have been booked into the Henderson Detention Center, facing numerous charges, including "2 counts of Robbery w/ a Deadly Weapon, 2 counts of Burglary w/ a Deadly Weapon, 8 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery."
No injuries were reported in either of the bank robberies.
