Residents of Hillsborough County have a date to save. The 2025 Neighborhoods Expo, designed to foster community engagement and educate on local government programs, will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at Feeding Tampa Bay. According to an announcement on Hillsborough County's official website, the expo, entitled "Opening Doors to Hillsborough County," promises an array of exhibits and demonstrations.
The event, which is returning in person this year, will feature members of the Board of County Commissioners who will address attendees at 9:30 a.m. In an attempt to make the occasion both informative and entertaining, Hillsborough is planning to hand out door prizes throughout the event, with a clear schedule set for the morning's activities.
Community members are encouraged to register for the expo, where they will have the opportunity to speak with the Neighborhood Relations team and learn about the numerous services and programs offered by the county. The team's yearly agenda includes training sessions, funding assistance, and networking events for residents and various neighborhood organizations, all aimed at bolstering the sense of community within the county.
The Neighborhoods Expo is a chance for Hillsborough County residents to connect, learn, and share ideas. Attendees can explore county projects, talk to officials, and meet their neighbors. The event will be held at 3624 Causeway Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619. Entry is free, but registration is required on the Hillsborough County's website.
