Houston will see dense fog in the mornings this week, clearing as the day progresses. According to the National Weather Service, the day will be mostly sunny with a high near 76°F. Fog is expected to return after midnight, with increasing clouds in the evening and temperatures dropping to around 59°F.
Dense fog can reduce visibility to a quarter-mile, leading to slower traffic. A fog advisory is issued in these conditions. Drivers can use fog lights or low beams for better visibility. The fog is expected to clear after 9 or 10 a.m., with temperatures in the upper 70s and possibly reaching 80°F in some areas, as reported by Houston Chronicle.
On Thursday, fog may occur before 9 a.m., followed by mostly cloudy skies and a high near 72°F. The weekend will have sunny weather with temperatures in the mid-70s. The cold front will reduce humidity caused by recent southeasterly winds from the Gulf. On Thursday night, skies will clear with a low around 51°F and a north wind at 5 to 10 mph, as stated by the National Weather Service.
