
A 21-year-old man, Micheal Sean Pace, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of 35-year-old Johnathan Boyd at a Houston gas station on February 16. The incident occurred at 5:55 p.m. at 3755 North MacGregor Way, where Boyd died from a gunshot wound at the scene, accordig to the Houston Police Department.
The Houston Police Department Homicide Division's investigation revealed that the shooting happened after Boyd got into "an argument with an unknown suspect that led to a physical fight, and Boyd being shot." The suspect, initially described as a man, fled in a white Nissan Altima with black rims. Later, investigators identified Pace as the shooter and arrested him.
Pace was arrested on Thursday in Blue Springs, Missouri, by U.S. Marshals and is awaiting extradition to Harris County. This follows a shooting incident where Boyd was found dead at a gas station. The case is being handled by the 495th State District Court. Pace's booking photo has not been released, and the investigation continues with assistance from local and federal agencies, as reported by the Houston Police Department.
