
Houston authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last night. The Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division is seeking information about two vehicles involved: a red Dodge sedan and a large box truck.
According to a Houston Police Department release on the City of Houston website, the incident took place around 7:30 p.m. on Cullen Boulevard when a male pedestrian, whose name has not been confirmed, was crossing outside of a designated crosswalk. The pedestrian was first struck by the sedan and then by the truck, both of which did not stop to assist or wait for emergency services.
Houston Fire Department paramedics declared the victim dead at the scene. The police are actively searching for the drivers involved and are urging the public to provide any information. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
