Houston law enforcement officials are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in a recent robbery that ended in gunfire. The Houston Police Department has released surveillance footage taken during a heist that occurred at a cell phone store located at 8205 Cullen Boulevard at approximately 5:05 p.m. on January 26, 2025.
According to the video evidence released, the suspects are two young black males. One wore a black hooded jacket, while his accomplice sported a yellow hooded jacket and was brandishing a pistol. During the robbery, the armed individual discharged multiple shots, critically wounding an 18-year-old male employee who was attempting to flee. Meanwhile, the second employee at the site was unharmed. Both suspects fled on foot post-haste into the nearby neighborhood, leaving behind a scene of chaos and concern.
An emergency response from the Houston Fire Department brought paramedics to the scene, who promptly transported the victim to a local hospital for urgent medical care. Images and video of the suspects have been made public in an attempt to glean information that could lead to their arrest. The police are turning to the community, hoping for tips that could help apprehend those responsible for this brazen act of violence.
