The Houston Police Department is currently seeking assistance from the public following a robbery that took place inside a convenience store. According to the department's Robbery Division, the incident occurred on November 2, 2024, around 6:30 pm, at the 8400 block of Tidwell, in Houston, Texas.
The victim, who was at a gaming machine inside the store, was approached by a male suspect. The suspect engaged the victim with small talk before forcibly taking his wallet and cell phone. He then fled from the location in an unknown direction. The Houston Police are looking for a black male who was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black slides at the time of the robbery.
Authorities have issued a reference number for the case—Houston PD #1538064-24—and are urging anyone with information to step forward. The Houston Police Department has advised that information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects could result in a cash reward of up to $5,000.
