An armed robbery took place at a general store on the 5700 block of Chimney Rock in Houston. The male suspect entered with a long bag over his shoulder, pulled out a rifle, and demanded cash. Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
On November 2, 2024, a robbery took place where a Hispanic male suspect with dark curly hair forced an employee and a customer to the ground before taking money from the cash register and safe. Witnesses reported that he spoke Spanish with a Guatemalan accent. He fled the scene, and authorities do not know which direction he went. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and tan or brown pants, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
Officials are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest or charging of the suspect. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Houston by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), using their website, or through their mobile app. To qualify for the reward, information must be reported directly to Crime Stoppers.
