
An armed robbery took place at a general store on the 5700 block of Chimney Rock in Houston. The male suspect entered with a long bag over his shoulder, pulled out a rifle, and demanded cash. Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
On November 2, 2024, a robbery took place where a Hispanic male suspect with dark curly hair forced an employee and a customer to the ground before taking money from the cash register and safe. Witnesses reported that he spoke Spanish with a Guatemalan accent. He fled the scene, and authorities do not know which direction he went. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and tan or brown pants, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
Officials are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest or charging of the suspect. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Houston by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), using their website, or through their mobile app. To qualify for the reward, information must be reported directly to Crime Stoppers. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more details become available, as stated by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
