
A Lyft driver in his late twenties was fatally shot in Houston during a carjacking. According to Click2Houston, the driver was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the hospital. Police believe two suspects were involved in the incident.
Houston police found the stolen black Hyundai Sonata abandoned in a ditch a few blocks away. Detective Alexander Vinogradov said, "This is not the first incident of an Uber or Lyft driver being carjacked in this area," noting that similar incidents have occurred in recent weeks. Police are asking for public assistance, as reported by KHOU.
