The incident, which unfolded near Oak Creek, spurred local authorities into a detailed canvas of the freeway in search of evidence related to the reported shots, FOX6 News reported.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office promptly responded to the scene, directing a full closure of the affected portion of I-94 northbound.
