Last Friday, gunfire shattered the calm of an Irving, Texas, neighborhood, leaving two individuals wounded but alive. The Irving Police Department, responding to the incident, pinpointed the suspected shooter as Luis Enrique Moreno and have since initiated a search for his apprehension. Eyewitness accounts were critical in identifying Moreno, who lives a short distance away in the 800 block of Lake Carolyn Pkwy.
The drama unfolded at around 4 am in the 1100 block of Hidden Ridge, where police officers arrived to find the two victims. According to a social media post from the Irving Police Department, while setting up a perimeter and getting the necessary legal paperwork in order, police enforced a shelter-in-place directive to the residents, illuminating the gravity of the situation.
Moreno's apartment was identified, but law enforcement personnel did not find the suspect himself. Now, Moreno is a wanted man, facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The police have made it clear to the public that anyone with information regarding Moreno's location is urged to step forward and assist.
