Veterans in Jacksonville have two events scheduled this week, organized by the city's Military Affairs and Veterans Department. According to a social media post from the City of Jacksonville, Florida - Government, veterans can receive assistance from a Veteran Service Officer at the Wesconnett Regional Library on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Additionally, active-duty military families with a military ID can attend the Food Farmacy event, in collaboration with Feeding Northeast Florida, at 390 Mayport Rd. from 10 a.m. to noon on the same day.
