A sinkhole has formed along the Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail in Katy's Nottingham Country neighborhood. The sinkhole, near Rustic Knolls Drive and Hoveden Drive, measures approximately 15 feet deep and 12 feet across, as reported by KHOU.

Local authorities responded after Precinct 5 constables identified a pedestrian hazard. Precinct 4 maintenance crews and the Harris County Flood Control District were notified to address the issue. Harris County Precinct 5 Constable placed cones around the area and confirmed the sinkhole's measurements.
