Drivers in Kekaha should prepare for travel disruptions due to road resurfacing work on Kekaha Road from Manu Road to Kaumuali‘i Highway. The closures will take place from Monday to Friday next week, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

According to the County of Kauai release, the Department of Public Works, in partnership with contractor Maui Kupono Builders, will partially close the road. Local residents will have partial access through the work areas, but parking will not be allowed in the construction zones. Travel delays are expected, so drivers should plan for extra time. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic around the construction area.

For more information, contact Maui Kupono Builders at 808-369-1800 or Todd Ozaki at the County of Kaua‘i at 808-241-4845.
