A Kissimmee woman has entered a guilty plea to severe charges involving child sexual abuse material, according to a statement obtained by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Jessica Corin Mangano, 34, from St. Cloud, acknowledged her involvement in receiving, distributing, and possessing such illicit content. She is now facing a minimum of 5 years to a potential maximum of 20 years imprisonment for distribution and receipt, while possession could lead to another 20 years behind bars, and as of now, the court has not set a date for sentencing, all of which evidences the deep-rooted issues surrounding these heinous crimes but also depicts the complex web of justice that seeks to deter further proliferation of such abuses.

As per the plea agreement, Mangano was found to have both distributed and received numerous videos containing abuse material and had hundreds of such videos involving young and vulnerable children, revealing a disturbing chapter in the unending struggle to protect the innocence of the young, as reported by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation, which Assistant United States Attorney Kaley Austin-Aronson prosecuted.
