According to LAPD's news release, an individual was detained and arrested by the authorities after being spotted spray-painting buildings.
The man in question, Antonio Florencio Castillo Duran, faces charges under Penal Code 594(B)(1) – the legal terminology for felony vandalism. Central Burglary Detectives from the LAPD arrested Duran, a 22-year-old from La Puente, after observing his alleged participation in the defacement. Duran was later subjected to the Book and Release process following his booking into the Metropolitan Detention Center.
